Who would have thought; concrete, green, New York and Spruitje would fit together. The production of Volkskrant magazine saw a resemblance within Ernst Wagners’ modern, stylized, exotic, green interior and Spruitje. “Binnenkijken” [to peek inside] a column of Volkskrant magazine shows Spruitje as an inspiration within the margins of the article “Betondorp” [concrete township] by Rijk van den Broek (text), Els Zweerink (photo’s), and Joline van den Oever (production). In Manhattan, New York they peek inside Ernst Wagners’ (co-founder and president of Modulightor). Perhaps in future we’ll get the chance to meet sir Wagner.
